Join us for an extraordinary literary event featuring Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Russo, in conversation with Rick Koster of The Day. This ticketed affair, showcasing Russo's new book, Somebody's Fool, is a part of our 2023 Annual Fundraiser. The proceeds will benefit the Mystic & Noank Library, and we are grateful to have Snediker Yacht Restoration as our generous host.

Richard Russo is a renowned author with an impressive body of work. He has authored nine novels, including his latest releases, Chances Are..., Everybody’s Fool, and That Old Cape Magic. Additionally, he has published two collections of stories and a memoir titled Elsewhere. Russo received the Pulitzer Prize in 2002 for his novel Empire Falls, which was also adapted into an acclaimed miniseries. In recognition of his literary achievements, he was awarded France's prestigious Grand Prix de Littérature Américaine in 2017. Russo currently resides in Portland, Maine.

The event will commence with a reception from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM, during which attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Following the reception, Richard Russo's captivating conversation will take place from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Snediker Yacht Restoration is located at 35 Campground Road in Old Mystic, CT.
